Fieldbox1 Performance XXL. Multi-network multi-slave emulator for residual bus emulation of PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, and EtherCAT, each with 8 fieldbuses and approximately 250 devices. Use the FieldBox in a test rack with a connection to a real controller. Connected to the iPhysics simulation software, the Fieldbox1 Performance XXL is simply connected to the computer or controller via plug and play and is ready for immediate use. The major advantage over traditional virtual commissioning is that no simulation computer resources need to be used for fieldbus emulation. The entire fieldbus emulation is performed externally in the Fieldbox1 Performance XXL. This eliminates the need for changes to the PLC, which previously required the additional implementation of the ComTCP client.
