Use the FieldBox1 Performance either on the desk or component in a test rack with a connection to a real controller. Connected to the iPhysics simulation software, the Fieldbox1 Performance is simply connected to the computer or controller via plug and play and is immediately ready for use. The big advantage over classic virtual commissioning is that no simulation computer resources have to be used for fieldbus emulation. The complete fieldbus emulation is carried out externally in the Fieldbox1 Performance. This eliminates the need for changes to the PLC, which previously had to also implement the ComTCP client.
